Consequences of alcohol and drug abuse among Chuka university students, Kenya

There is a drastic increase in alcohol and drug abuse, especially among the youth many parts of World.it has been reported that University students are most affected by challenge abuse world over. According to National Campaign against Drug Abuse (NACADA), 84% between 16 24 years Kenya involved abuse. fall under this age bracket. To mitigate all universities required have Alcohol Drugs prevention committees policies. This study aimed at finding out effects Chuka University. The adopted descriptive research design. target population was 15,290 students. A simple random sampling technique employed choose 384 respondents. Questionnaires were used collect data.
